IVY STATION

IVY STATION

Client Lowe Enterprises
Location Culver City

Ivy Station is a 5.5-acre mixed-use district developed jointly with the City of Culver City adjacent to the Expo Line station. At the heart of the project is a 1.5-acre urban park that embraces, unites, and draws community and Metro riders into the site.

Abstracting the natural landscape of the Ballona Creek and the adjacent Baldwin Hills, Ivy Station’s central open space forms the campus heart for HBO’s new West Coast headquarters, 200 residential units, and a 150-key boutique hotel. The landscape spine runs East-West, connecting the Metro station platform to the Venice and National Boulevard intersection, expanding the public realm, and establishing a new civic space for Culver City. The plaza and its associated garden spaces are actively programmed to draw families, office tenants, and commuters into the site, and complement the patio dining that lines the edges of the open space.

The project was recently honored with a 2021 Merit Award by ACEC California for Engineering Excellence.
