Client: The Sullivan Family and Hines
A 3.7 acre redevelopment project, Hollywood Toyota draws inspiration from the slopes and canyons of the Hollywood Hills. Fractal and terraced geometries invite users into and through the site activating a diverse architectural program: 35-story residential tower, 6-story office building, low-rise residential village, as well as a variety of new plazas, shops, and restaurants.
DESIGNATING SPACES
At its core, RELM’s landscape is tasked with resolving the project’s complex programming requirements. Public and private spaces wind through the site requiring careful execution in how to welcome the public in communal areas that sit adjacent to private-use courtyards, plazas, and terraces, distributed on multiple levels.
