LONG BEACH AIRPORT TERMINAL

LONG BEACH AIRPORT TERMINAL
Long Beach Airport is a prominent civic gateway for thousands of travelers. The landscape is composed of two intersecting open-air concourses designed to evoke the character of coastal and riparian environments throughout Long Beach.
This unique design approach underscores Southern California’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle complete with an ever popular linear outdoor fire pit, a wifi hightop bar inside to easily and enjoyable recharge electronics, and generous outdoor wooden benches for visitors to linger waiting to board their plane.
In stark contrast to most airports, the security and circulation concerns are adeptly managed in the design creating an overall pleasurable environment.
